It's late and I've just arrived at home from our Pizza-meeting. I had a nice time - we laughed a lot and the Pizza was very good!!! Just to give you an impression of the first self-made Pizza of my live (self-made dough and sauce):
Good Night!!

12 of 12 (october 2011)
This post is inspired by two blogs and their writers - I really adore them: Bine of was eigenes and Caro of Draußen nur Kännchen. It's a photo action invented here, where blogger post 12 photos of what they were doing at the 12th of each month. I like to read all those posts each month on other blogs so that I knew if I would ever have a blog on my own I will join this event and now time has come! Caro has a list on her blog of all bloggers who take part in it! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and also that my photos will be better the more I practice :)!!
Getting everything ready for taking a shower, needed to wait because the cleaning lady was in the bathroom.
While waiting I prepared the reading stuff for today.
And after seeing that chaos I decided to clean-up too.
Let's go whole hog!
Writing some postcards.
A very late but tasty breakfast together with Steffi.
Looks yummie? Yeah it's for our selfmade Pizza tonight!!
Because of too much stuff to read for University I have to enjoy this nice weather from inside :((.
Preparing some things for the Romanticism-Course tomorrow.
Manicure!
Reading Moby Dick for North American Literature and drinking tea - very English :)!
Now waiting for my darling to call....
Hope you liked it! Tonight we're going to make Pizza with the boys of Matthias flat (he is one guy from our German university). Will be fun!
See u later, guys :)

Loch Ness I - Inverness
As I've told you on my Baked Friday post we went to Loch Ness on Saturday. The trip was organised by the International Society of our University and we started very early in the morning with three buses to our first stop in Inverness, the Capital City of the Highlands. Inverness is a small town lying at the river Ness and not far away from Loch Ness. We just had a very short time there, so the only thing we really saw was the nice Victorian market. Afterwards we visited Urquhart Castle which is situated at the shore of Loch Ness and from there we made a short Boattrip on the Loch. Sorry to say, but there is absolutely nothing special about this lake except for its legend. It is sad that everything is made up to impress the tourists. Many forget the landscape around it which is really beautiful. It was nice to see it but I think it lost its natural charme. But I don't want to complain and instead show you a few pictures. In this post I will focus on Inverness otherwise it would be to many photos. Hope you enjoy watching them!
Cheers!
Inverness Castle
The view on St. Andrews Cathedral.
The really nice Victorian market, we all felt like being in a Christmas town :).
Such nice old pictures were above every store in the market.
An absolutely beautiful entrance of a Jeweller.
And we WERE in Christmas town!
Finally a different view on Inverness Castle.
Cheers!
Arrgh!
A few minutes ago I started to write a post on our Loch Ness trip on Saturday. After I wrote a long text, blogger.com failed and everything was away - arrgh!! I'm going to write the Post again but later this day because I'm a bit upset now... I know such things can happen but I have to do so much stuff for University here that I'm not in the mood to repeat it right now. Maybe after our Yoga lesson will be a good time as I will be more relaxed then.
Cheers guys, see u later :)

Baked Friday
This time I have a slightly different post for you. After our weekly shopping tour to Lidl, where we buy all our food and stuff, we baked an apple pie (and tried it directly) and it is sooooo yummmmmiieee!!!! Check it out yourself:
You need: 250 g butter, 250 g sugar, 350 g flour, 5 eggs, 1 package baking-powder, 1 package vanilla sugar + 1,5 kg apple (in slices)
Mix everything.
In the end everything can be filled in a greased baking tray.
After 25 minutes in the oven (baked at 200 degrees) it looks soooo good and it tastes even better :).
And while I prepared everything for the pie, Stephanie baked this for us (synchronized baking):
It's a sunflower bread. We haven't tried it yet but I think it will be also very good!
Hope you had fun watching this different post! Tomorrow we are going to Loch Ness with the International Society of our University. We leave very early in the morning and will be away for the whole day so we need lunch packages - I think they will be very good with all this tasty stuff in them!! I promise to take many many pictures at Loch Ness to share them with you.
Cheers!

Dunnottar Castle II
Today you get to see the second part of Steffi's and my adventure at Dunnottar Castle. Okay, I must admit that we didn't see any mighty and strong knights or beautiful ladys in long dresses but the place (and also the way to it) and the history of the castle were so impressing and adorable that it felt a bit like a little adventure. Through history there had been many important persons on Dunnottar Castle, some of you may know William Wallace, Mary Queen of Scots or Charles II. It is also remarkable that it was at this Castle where the Scottish Crown Jewels were saved during Cromwell's reign. But enough of historical facts, I will take you onto another trip, this time to Dunnottar Castle itself. Have fun!
I hope you enjoyed the short trip with me to Dunnottar Castle!
I can say, that it was a really beautifull and impressing day there and at the end we knew why it was one of the (or maybe THE) safest Castles in the UK :)!
Cheers!
From there it was just a one minute walk to the entrance!
The entrance!!
Yeah, we're at the right place :).
Maybe William Wallace stood exactly on the same place with the same view!?
They had the most exciting view from out of their windows - one of my favorite pics!
And again a really beautiful view!
Not that easy to imagine someone living here...
Typical winding-stairs.
Fail :): Progress has also taken over this small and isolated piece of land.
I like this little tower. Had there been a window it could have been Rapunzels'!
We were wondering if it is a well or a swimming-pool.
I can tell you, it was not at least comfortable in there!
Proof that it is built exactly at the cliffs.
The rest of the Castles' Chapel.
Next I show you a few more pictures of this absolutly impressing view!
I hope you enjoyed the short trip with me to Dunnottar Castle!

Dunnottar Castle I
On Friday Steffi and I went to the small town Stonehaven to visit the ruin of Dunnottar Castle. It is a few miles south of Aberdeen and situated at one of the most impressing landscapes I've ever seen in my life 'till now!
We went there by train, which was itself very nice. On the one hand because of the comfortable and clean trains and on the other because of the nice view at the sea during the journey. From the railway station in Stonehaven we had to walk at least 3 miles to the castle but it felt like being 8 or 10 because of an up-and-down way on the very beautiful and impressing cliffs. Before taking our way to the castle we stopped at the beach in Stonehaven to have a short lunch and another stop at the small harbour to take pictures of it. After that we had to make a walk to the top of the first cliffs and from there we went on really small ways along the coastline to our main destination - Dunnottar Castle. I don't know how long it took us, but it felt like hours because of taking a lot of pictures, the change of sweating and freezing because of the harsh wind and the many up-and-downs we had to pass. But the view we had was absolutly worth it!
We took so many pictures that I will split the post in, I think, two parts (maybe three) to show you most of it. In this post I will show you our way to the castle. Have fun watching it!
Small little railway stations, seems we were in a time-machine and landed in the year 1900.
A small church on Stonehaven's market place.
Arriving at the beach - first thing to do: Taking photos!
The small white dots on the sea are seagulls.
Yes, we did it :)!
Our lunch package: Self-made apple pancakes, yummie!
Stonehaven harbour in the sun.
It was so cute laying in a safe bay, with typical houses, fishing boats and a few yachts.
Small paths - to the left deep cliffs, to the right fields and the first sight of the castle!
Without words, absolutely impressing!
Can you see Jack Sparrow?
Yeah, it's not that far away anymore!!
Hope you enjoyed this little trip with me. I will show you more an Monday!
Cheers!
