A little paradise

Hi loves,

it's me again. Sleep won't come tonight so I decided to write about the most special and beautiful place we've been during our stay here at Schotland. A few kilometres outside of Aberdeen you find a litte (not very remarkably) town called Balmedie which lies at the most wonderful beaches I know so far (who would've expected that we would find in the UK)! We arrived at Balmedie Beach in the afternoon so that the light was gorgeous because it was almost sunset. It's not possible to describe it so get ready for lots of pictures:

Good night (hopefully), lovelies!

It's Pub-Time

Hey there,

Aberdeen has lots of pubs, clubs and lounges as many student cities do. I'm more the kind of girl who likes to chill out in cozy pubs with some good music, nice people and tasty cider. So I thought why not showing you my favourite pub - the Slains Castle. It's situated in an old church that looks kinda like a castle haunted by ghosts and inside it the also designed it like that. Unfortunately because of the dark in there the pictures might be a bit bad but I hope it's okay for a little peep.

Dr. Frankenstein's bureau?

Also Dracula is there.

As well as Freddie.

"The earth witch" cauldron.

Nice little pets in frames ;).

Wish you all a very nice sleep :-P!

12 of 12 (December)

One of my favourite posts to read on other blogs as I told you before - 12 of 12. Last month I didn't manage to participate in it but this time I really wanted to. Unfortunately I was completely busy today and the day started with me forgetting that it is the 12th. I was on my way to University when I remembered it and as it was already mid-day I decided to do kind of a special 12 of 12 today. The following twelve pictures are from my walk to University and, as you will see, it was a wonderful day with quite a lot of wonderful impressions.

It was sunny but (brrrr) cold!

This time I didn't take the way through the park. This picture reminds me of an advertisement for a vacation or something like that.

I like those little houses that remember me of old Miss Marple films!

I think that's really a door a bishop should walk through.

No words - just amazing.

I felt being watched while taking photos of their neighbourhood - creepy ;).

I wished that was my house - isn't it beautiful?!

You can see quite a few of houses like that and I always ask myself who is living in there.

This was the street I took, it always looks exactly like in the middle ages. You should see that at night!

The Old Town House

Also Scottish cats like looking out of the window.

The last nice impression of that walk - I almost arrived at University!

I hope you had fun taking a walk with me!!

See ya, my lovelies!

The weather was sooo perfect - could you imagine that it's already three weeks to Christmas??

Thanks to Luana, my lovely Italian flatmate, who prepared this tasty Pizza for all of us!!

Lots of kisses and cuddles, see ya!!

Two Sundays but different

Last Sunday we had such a good weather that Steffi and I took a walk into the city center along the beach. It was such a good thing after a full week of essay writing. We saw a seal swimming in the River Don but unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of it :(. Hope I get some next time!! However the walk was completely relaxing and fantastic. But see for yourself!

Today our Sunday was more calm and relaxed. I suffer from a heavy cold and feel very exhausted by everything I do. Nevertheless we baked some scones - I got the idea from here and the recipe from here - and invited a few friends for tea so that it was also a nice day!! The scones were soooo yummiiiiiie!!

Hope you had fun watching those pictures and I wish you a good start into a new week!

See ya, loves!
